Paul – We always have something to say, don’t we? Seriously, I’ve known Farah for the past two years and have gotten to know her quite well, I’m really sorry to see her go. But what made me surprised is the fact that Dayang was one of the bottom 3. I mean we heard from the beginning of the show how it was unfair for her to be in this competition because of who she is, but now I guess she’s in danger and might not be that easy for her to go to top 3.

Syafinaz – Saya memang nampak Farah ada potensi untuk tekeluar walaupun she had good chances in the beginning of the competition. I hope this will not cause the others to lose focus and stay on.

Zainal – Farah, you memang penyanyi yang baik, walaupun terkeluar tak semestinya berhenti di sini. You dah popular, ramai orang kenali you , so you just move on.

ALIF
Kenangan manis masa dalam bilik practicing, beli star wars main pedang and pistol, sekarang tinggal 2 je star wars. Kenangan pahit alhamdulillah so far takde lagi.

FOOTLOOSE (KENNY LOGGINS):

Syafinaz – Ok, that was a good performance. I like when you started off soft and then got groovy at the chorus, that was good. You angkat kaki and tangan, nampak fun. But lebih baik vocal arrangement, energy is there.

Zainal – Saya suka energy yang you give us. But saya nampak energy to macam was put on kind, tak natural. If you try, you make it real ok, make it from your heart and you can do it better.

Paul – I thought that was well put, I couldn’t agree any better. Yes that was sort of entertaining in a cabaret, Saturday night variety show fit for 35 year old housewives can enjoy. But is this the sort of material that 18 year olds will download? I don’t think so, maybe 12 years old? Seriously, can it sell cds or records in our music industry today? It’s not really good enough.

PRETTY YOUNG THING (PYT) (MICHAEL JACKSON) WITH RESHMONU:

Syafinaz – The whole performance is interesting. But to me nampak seperti abang dan adik Cuma mak bapak je lain. Reshmonu yang more leading here. So pihak anda nampak sedikit ametur.

Zainal – Good to see you Resh! Comb your hair, please! Haha, ok, when you duet with someone like Resh, yang baju cantik, hansem, also someone who is an outstanding and talented singer, you have to be more than him, in terms of pakaian, vocal, staging. Masa pitching masuk tadi dah out ada problem so jaga-jaga.

Paul – Let’s start with the good first. I thought it was a fresh interpretation of the song. Good collaboration, good fun on stage, even surprised myself. The bad part, you were blown off stage completely. You are just 16 years old so, I can understand you are a little bit overwhelmed. You missed a big opportunity during the performance. You forgot about the audience! I mean your song is about pretty young thing and there are a lot of pretty young girls. You should have gone to them and especially when you sing the chorus. You are the one to go next week, no doubt about it!

DAYANG
No pahit or kenangan tak manis, everything is good because I’ve learned a lot, belajar to know myself sedikit=sebnatak. Semua experience banyak mengajar Dayang. I nak menang!

BUTTONS (PUSSYCAT DOLLS)

Syafinaz – Namapk pergerakan Dayang lebih berani sekarang. Loosen up my buttons – go ahead! Bukak semua, bukak kasut jugak. I want the shoes, cantik! Lagu ni actuallynya melody dia simple je straight forward, yang susah tuh bagaimana nak mewarnakan lagu tersebut. Dari dulu I dah cakap yang you memang a good singer but dari pergerakan memang ada perubahan, saya suka, you dah berani tunjuk, but dari vokal, you can do a lot better

Zainal – I’m surprised sebab Dayang sebelum nih saya tengok tak pernah moving . Tonight you really lepas, let go, that was a good performance.

Paul – I actually had a slightly different thought. When you kept saying lossens up my buttons by the way you moved it looked like you are really buttoned up really tight, so how to loose the buttons? I think the song needs more hip movement, you need to move more. I know, I know, this is Malaysia and we are more conservative and you are an established artist, so you don’t want to offend anyone because you have your reputation, but you need to loosen up more. C’mon.

Syafinaz – I think you’ve moved enough for tonight.

MY BOO (USHER FEATURING ALICIA KEYS) WITH V.E.:

Syafinaz – Saya rasa Dayang dah familiar and biasa with them so voice blending very nice. Suara V.E and Dayang dua-dua boleh dengar. Takut pulak since this is a competition, so you must tonjolkan Dayang lagi. Not V.E. featuring Dayang ok. Jangan lupa ada 5 orang kat atas pentas, tapi Dayang Cuma focus pada mereka yang berambut saje. Kesian!

Zainal – Performance ok, but I want to see more. I’ve seen this before. I know you have energy and technique, so I want to see you pull me into your world ok, haha, not that ‘world’.

Paul – Visually, the performance really blends in well, but it made you looked like one of the boys, where is the girl? What about the audience? You seem to completely forget about them, you need to do a lot more. Dayang, we need to see so much more. Otherwise, they might forget about you and stop voting for you.

FAIZAL
Positive experience is being here among Top 4 finalists. If I advance further, that would be greater. I wouldn’t miss a thing, it was good all the way. For bad experience, maybe some of my previous performances.

HAVE A NICE DAY (BON JOVI)

Syafinaz – Jangan jatuh atas I dah! Faizal, you peserta yang tinggal and ada impak di luar sana. Ini bukan satu kelemahan to everyone else, but you can lawan orang ini actually ye. Faizal, you pun jangan sampai terlupa bila dah sangat hyper tuh, sibuk bergerak sana-sini tangan sibuk tapi tak dengar voice.

Paul – It’s life performance, so it’s good he did that. He has to do it that way. You can’t just stop and stand and sing all the way, so what if we can’t hear a few words, you don’t mind that much do you?

Syafinaz – Paul bukan seorang penyanyi, that’s why he thinks like that. I’m not saying that he is not good, I’ve been throwing compliments at Faizal since the beginning, I’m just stressing tthat we need to enjoy the whole performance, nyanyi sepenuhnya, not just a fragment of here and there.

Zainal – I like your energy. But you have problem with pitching, c’mon. You terlalu concentrate on movement, and you tak jaga suara. Tak sampai! I know Superman doesn’t sing, but right now you are not a supersinger either.

Paul – It looked like the real thing to me. In big concerts, people paid millions to come see these artistes. These famous artistes they are good performers but sometimes they just do their own thing and still get a lot of response. I think people will pay to see you. You show us that you are ready to do this, and I think you can do this.

Zainal – You can only do that only after you are famous or popular. But before you get there you have to sing better and learn the right way first.

Paul – But I still think you are ready for final, keep it up!

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY (QUEEN) WITH DEJA VOODOO SPELLS

Syafinaz – Rasanya kalau dulu Faizal dalam kumpulan lain, instead of collaboration, it felt like you are part of the group. You need to stand out, and you did, so good. I see you instead of them. Faizal masuk harmony should continue, intonation you know yourself. I’m not even gonna go there. You kena careful, you kena banyak stamina untuk gerak sana-sini, so faletto tak de penat je.

Zainal – Saya tengok this program ok, saya tengok semua persembahan awak sebelum ni, saya rasa awak nyanyi dulu lebih baik dari today, your performance nih nampak macam takde energy, takde communication, in your own world, not enough, I thought last performance was better.

Paul – I thought that was a brave attempt but you were trying to hard and ultimately it turned out messy because it didn’t come off. Collaborationyou made it into groovy verse, I liked it, not like the original I didn’t expect to see, a bit surprising. But in the end it didn’t really work, but I think you’ll still be ok.

SUKI
Banyak pengalaman yang baik dan tidak baik. Dulu Suki lemah dalam communication, ada problems with contestants, so I must apologize to them, sorry. Good experience is like getting comments from judges to improve and do better. I learned a lot.

MIMPI PUN SAMA (SITI SARAH)

Syafinaz – Suki saya rasa awak kena pelbagaikan melodi, setiap lagu berbeza, sexy, cute, marah, geram but you sentiasa aje cute, suara vocal kena berbeza according songs even if you are cute. Talk to your vocal coach about interpretation lagu. Register to register that sort of thing, but ending was quite good.

Zainal – Suki are you nervous? Yeah? Pronounciation you I tak dengar la, I didn’t understand. Not very clean, so you need to polish it up a bit. Jangan jadik macam Paul, he’s worst!Your translation pecahkan cord to cord, pitching pun tak begitu solid. I didn’t really enjoy your performance just now, you could do better,

Paul – That was dodgy and not very impressive. You are one of the favourites, never the bottom two. Do you know how long average for an ordinary person to make RM1Million? I looked it up – it takes 33 years of hard work, 6 days a week without sleeping and eating and still could not earn as much sometime. You have the potential to win, could you do it in just two weeks? Do you deserve this? Have you earned it? At 17? Really? At this point I don’t know if you’ve shown and serious about your passion to win.

PERMATA PEMOTONG PERMATA (ELLA) WITH ELLA:

Syafinaz – Masa mula-mula saya tahu Suki akan ditemani Ella, saya rasa ini sangat merbahaya! She’s small but can drown anyone ok. Hati-hati ye pasal bila habis nyanyi audience semua sorak Ella! Ella! Bukan Suki kan? Memang persembahan Suki tentu lebih baik tetapi saya wonder, is it because of Ella or because it’s really you?

Zainal – I like it! But if I tutup mata and dengar kat radio I lagi suka dengar. This is a beautiful duet.

Paul – You look really sexy Ella! Suki, this is much more your thing. Thankyou at last you’ve given something that I can talk and be happy about. You didn’t get blown off the stage vocally or performance wise. Since last week, we’ve seen an emerging side of you – naughty but nice brand, good! And who better for you to learn it from than Ella!
